Do You Have a Referral Program in Place for Yourself or Your Business?

Do you have a referral program in place for yourself or your business? Today I’m sharing the reasons I love referral programs and also ways to become sponsors for events to help increase your marketing.

I completed a Live Facebook where I shared my screen and showed different companies that I have either created an affiliate link with, have a referral post for, or sponsored an event through.

Referral Programs I Reviewed

Million Dollar Sisterhood offered a simple but great marketing idea — a free Facebook group to help those interested in learning the skills of speaking at events and creating presentations for their business. Their free offer is available at milliondollarsisterhood.com.

Brandless offers a referral link — if you share their information on your social media pages and someone clicks through, you receive a dollar amount toward goods from their online store.

Younique — I was asked to be an affiliate by a friend on Facebook who runs a beauty company. She sent me images and post descriptions to share, and I earned party points for every order placed through my link. It was fun and super easy.

I used Bitly to make my links shorter and more memorable. For the makeup company I used: bit.ly/AwesomeEyelashandMakeupLink

Branch Basics is an eco-friendly house cleaning products company with a simple sharing tool. It posts a link on my social media pages offering $10 off to new customers on their first order, and credits me $5 toward my own orders when someone uses it.

Event Sponsorships Worth Knowing About

My son Nate has joined with a college-bound company that provides events for students to host — they earn money for on-campus housing and food costs. His first event is a Scavenger Halloween Selfie event, and companies can be sponsors to gain name recognition and be featured in the special sponsored category of the hunt.

Pro Watercross is a jet ski racing company that comes to Naples for their World Championship event. I help with their sponsorship program. This month they are transitioning to nonprofit status, which means companies will be able to write off their sponsorship on their taxes. If you’re interested in sponsorship, send an email to nicole@prowatercross.com.

Ivory Mix is an affiliate program offering beautiful stock photos and programs that teach bloggers how to use them in posts and create beautiful social media content.

If you have any questions or comments on referral marketing or affiliate marketing, leave me a message — I’ll be sure to respond. And if you’d like to know how your company can create a referral plan or participate in a sponsorship program, I offer a 30-minute free consultation.
